Culture of Giving

The Culture of Giving campaign is one of our annual fundraising campaigns.  It is the source of a large portion of our PTO funds each year. The Roberts Community has a long and strong history which is embodied in these three words “Culture of Giving.” Through your generous donations and tireless volunteerism our children enjoy activities that set us apart from other schools. 100% of the money you donate goes directly into the school and we ask each family to give. Your money has provided for the IB Programme Fee, critical Teacher and Curriculum enrichment and upgraded classroom technology just to highlight a few areas.

Our final tally for 2016-2017 the Culture of Giving Campaign has 60 percent of Roberts families participating, with $74,270 given. So, once again, thank you to everyone who contributed. And congratulations to first three classes that donated $3,000 or more — Ms. Heemer (4th grade), Ms. Proch (3rd grade) and Ms. Bahr (5th grade) — they will each receive an extra $150 for classroom supplies.

A special thank you to the committee chairs, Renae and Prashant Murti and Donna and Ellison Scudder for getting out the word and tallying the donations.

To maximize your donation, please review your company’s Corporate Matching Program (click here for a sample list of companies). Please file as soon as possible.  The Roberts PTO is a non-profit 501c3. Tax ID number is 74-2198519. Note your contribution does not include company match amount.

Please contact the committee chairs, Renae & Prashant Murti and Donna & Ellison Scudder at roberts.cultureofgiving@gmail.com with any questions.

Although the campaign is officially over, we accept donations any time of year!  Every family is automatically a member of the PTO Community!
