CULTURE OF GIVING Week 2 Update

We are in the last week of the campaign and far from reaching our fundraising goal! In order to drive participation, we are launching 2 new classroom incentives:
  • The class with the highest participation in each grade wins a DONUT PARTY!
  • All classes that raise more than $4K will win a PIZZA PARTY!
Despite being one of the lowest funded schools in all of HISD, Roberts is one of the very top-performing elementary schools in Houston. The money that we raise through Culture of Giving is crucial to funding necessities and enrichments that help make our school great.

PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING! Donations are tax-deductible.

Robert’s Campout

Join the PADRES campout at Roberts Elementary on November 10, 2017. The cost is $25.00 per camper, which includes crafts, games, dinner, a movie, a dance party, and breakfast. Kids and volunteers (only) will also receive a campout shirt. ALL KIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. More information here: http://robertspto.org/events-2/campout/

Evening PTO Meeting and Parent University

SPECIAL EVENT on September 17
5:45 pm – EVENING PTO MEETING
6:15 pm – PARENT UNIVERSITY

“Culture of Giving” Campaign

We are excited to launch the 2019 Culture of Giving fundraiser. This annual campaign funds 1/3 of the PTO budget. This year’s campaign will run from September 10 through October 1.

Through your generous donations and tireless volunteerism, our children enjoy activities that set us apart from other schools. Last year, the Roberts PTO supported the projects in the following areas. For a detailed list, please see the 2018-19 Year in Review.

  • IB Membership
  • Curriculum Enrichment
  • Professional Development
  • Technology
  • Health & Safety
  • Building and Grounds

Please consider giving. If every family gives $1 per school day (a donation of $175), we will reach our goal. 100% of the money you donate goes directly into the school. Donations are tax-deductible. Ask if your employer has a Corporate Matching Program to compound your contribution. For more information including how to donate and benefits, click here.
